Maybe that statement is too harsh but we must look at reality if we are to ever fix what's not working for us.
Fact.. All other races in the world knows when to come together for the benefit of the whole.
You can't probably tell me one race that doesn't. The Koreans, the Chinese, Hispanic, Europeans, you name and they do.
Where else can you go in someone else neighborhood and most of the businesses are owned by someone else. How many African stores do you see in Chinatown?
How many African shops do you see in the Hispanic neighborhood?
You name it and the numbers are probably the same. It seems that we are more interested in blending into main stream than becoming the Great nation with in and outside of that we could.
This isn't just a African problem it's an African American problem.
I believe we can still change things but we must educate ourselves first.
Economic is power. It doesn't matter how you look at it. Yes, there are some rich African Americans or African period but unless we start to produce and manufactor some of the good and services that we're so quick to use or spend our money on.
We will continue to make others rich and when it comes to giving our own people jobs, jobs that will help a man be a man. It won't happen unless we do for self first.
We don't have to ask for permission, just do.
If you haven't seen the movie, 500 Years Later, check it out. We must come together and realize.
500 Years Later: Directors Cut
It doesn't matter about the religion you are, the amount of money you make, the school you went to. We are all African decent first.
